Note: Your duffel bag must not exceed 10kgs. Bags exceeding 10kgs will have an additional cost of MX$2000 before boarding the bus.

 What should I pack for my trip to Camino Copalita?

· 1 small day pack (to carry water and camera)

· 1 duffel bag for clothes and sleeping bag (Mules will carry this backpack from camp to camp, you will not have to carry it)

· 1 sleeping bag (Warm and thick, for cold and low temperatures - the first 2 nights of the trail get very cold, temperatures drop to about 0 degrees Celsius)

· Comfortable hat

· Sunblock

· Insect repellent

· Swim suit

· 1 pair of shorts

· Small towel

· Bandages for blisters

· Poles, knee guard, or anything you usually use to walk comfortably.

· Flashlight

· 2 water bottles for 1L each

· 1 toilet paper roll

· Fleece / Sweatshirt / Jacket (To use especially the first two nights of the trek)

· 1 beanie hat for colder temperatures

· 2 pairs of comfortable pants that dry easily (no jeans).

· 1 Rain jacket

· 2 pairs of comfortable hiking shoes (One pair will surely get wet. You will use them to hike while crossing rivers, so preferably bring shoes that do not absorb water).

· 6 pairs of socks

· Underwear

· 5 t-shirts

· 1 long sleeve shirt

· 2 large plastic bags to put wet clothes in (or clothes you want to keep dry)

· Snacks of your choice

· Vaseline

· Personal hygiene products

Although guides carry a first aid kit with them at all times, remember to take with you any medication you take frequently or toiletries tha you might need: tampons, contact lenses liquid, etc.
